Hovudfokuset i praksisen min er å utforske korleis eg kan arbeide med minne og kjensler gjennom fysiske handlingar. Dette vert utgangspunktet for tekstilverk med sjølvbiografiske tema, laga med gjentakande og tidkrevjande teknikkar og prosessar, t.d. veving og handkvilting. 

Eg er interessert i relasjonar mellom menneske, og korleis opplevingane og erfaringane våre gjennom livet formar oss og påverkar handlingane våre.  Dette er tema eg arbeider mykje med, både direkte med bruk av tekst, men også indirekte gjennom fargar og biletemateriale i arbeida mine.

Arbeida mine grunnar alltid i det personlege, og det ferdige arbeidet blir ei fysisk manifestering av dei indre prosessane som har skjedd under skapinga av kvart verk. Kvar tråd held ein tanke, kvart sting er eit minne. 

The main focus in my practice is how to process memories and emotions through physical actions. This is the starting point for textile artworks with autobiographical themes, created from repetitive and time-consuming techniques and processes, such as weaving and hand-quilting.

I'm interested in the way we are connected as human beings, and how our experiences shape us and affects the way we live. This is a theme I work with recurringly, both directly by the use of text, and more indirect through the use of colour and pictures in my work.

The starting point for all of my works is the personal, and the finished work becomes a physical manifestation of the internal processes that have happened during the creation of each work. Every thread holds a thought, every stitch is a memory.
